The Scala Theater (Teatro alla Scala) history starts with the costruction of the building, with the direction of the architect Piermarini in 1777, when Milan was under the Austrian rule. The composer Giuseppe Verdi, as well as many other important musicians, singers and dancers, played an important role in the theater history: you can discover part of it visiting the rich La Sacla Musuem.
