The Last Supper (Cenacolo) history starts with the completion of the dominican church of Santa Maria delle Grazie at the end of 15th century.
Between 1494 and 1498 Leonardo da Vinci realizes, in the refectory of the monastery, one of the universal know masterpieces of all time: the wall painting representing the dramatic moment in which Jesus said: “I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me ”.
The Bramante cloister and church, one of Milan’s renaissance architecture best achievements, are freely accessible.
