September is the best moment to visit Milan: warm weather, Fashion Week and Festivals are waiting for you! Here some events you really can’t miss: enjoy them on foot, by bike or Segway.
We talked about it few days ago on Segway Tour Milan: September is full of events dedicated to the Fashion Indistry meaning not just the Fashion Week, but also the 9th edition of Fashion Film Festival and other exhibitions like:
From September 15th to 18th, Fieramilanocity will host Homi 2017, the Lifestyle Show in Milan.
Homi has become the point of reference for home furnishings and home appliances, where every year exhibitors, architects and retailers show their latest news. The theme of this new edition is the philosophy of living “nomadic”, which requires more and more flexibility and versatility, both in the field of fashion and design.
From September 16th to 26th, the center of Milan will be involved in Milano XL – The Festival of Italian Creativity, the initiative that celebrates the excellence of “made in Italy” through 7 scenic installations.
The stages, located at different points in the city, will serve to make the art of Italian manufacture known to the general public.
During this period, Mudec hosts Klimt Experience, a multimedia installation dedicated to the Austrian painter, which will allow you to experience, through pictures, sounds and music, the pictorial, cultural and social dimension in which Gustav Klimt lived and worked.
If you are walking around Navigli District, don’t miss “Un’estate allo Scalo“: sports activities, evening projections, initiatives for the younger people, relax areas and street food.
Speaking of food, kids can learn to make Italian Ice Cream together with their parents at the Gelateria Il Rigoletto School (every day from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.) and enjoy street food stores of any kind.
Just a few miles from Milan, you can visit Monza and enjoy its beautiful Elite Street Food & Art Festival: 3 days dedicated to art, street food and artisan beers, with a selection of food trucks and Ape Car from all over Italy. Kitchens open no stop with products suitable for everyone: gluten free, vegans and celiac people.
The event will be hosted in Monza from September 15th to 17th with free entrance.
If you are more interested in conscious nutrition, the last weekend of September go to MiVeg, the festival dedicated to animals and the vegan choice.
Good sustainable food and 100% vegan programs, workshops, conferences, a children’s space, music and seminars.
The purpose of the event is to provide a complete overview of the vegan universe, promoting a lifestyle that is attentive to the environment and the suffering of animals.
